Nursery for the 10:00 a.m. Mass on Sundays - Children up to 3 years of age
Volunteers
Volunteers provide babysitting for small children from birth through three years old. Parents who use the nursery are asked at least once a month to work in the nursery.
We are trying to get enough adult volunteer so that no one person is volunteering more than once per month. That means just one week on, and at least three weeks off!
What Is Involved?
A) One hour of your time only once per month.
B) An initial meeting to get things off of the ground such as setting up the nursery and getting the required items, etc.
What Is Required?
The Diocese of Saint Petersburg requires the following. Call Lorna Carter in the parish office for more information.
A) Safe Environment Training Program (SEP) (every five years)
B) Background check (Fingerprinting) (every five years) – register online at http://www.diocese.sofn.net . We now have a diocesan fingerprinting machine in the parish office.

Parents: (What to expect):
A) A sign-in sheet when you drop your child off.
B) A sign-out sheet when you pick-up your child.
C) Parents and siblings ages 16 and above who are only known by the nursery volunteers can only pick-up the child.
D) Please be prompt in picking up your child.
E) Bring extra diapers, bottles with child’s name on them.
F) Do not bring food items for the safety of all children.
